Lubes in the News

Oil change companies making headlines this Cyber Monday:

Details on a lawsuit between a former lube shop operator and distributor Quality Oil.

• EZ Lube refunds $500 to a customer after a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair.

• Checker Flag Premium Lube Express opens in St. George, Utah.

• Customer publicly thanks Express Oil Change.

• Oil Can Henry's in Arizona is victim of a dumpster fire.

• Finally, something you don't see everyday (at least not in the U.S.): a quick lube with a built-in mosque.

(This post written while listening to "Flash's Theme" by Queen. Good song; horrible movie.)

Re: The fine mentioned in the EZ Lube article... It would be interesting to know how much they paid before filing for bankruptcy and when they plan on paying the remaining sum of $500k mentioned in the article.
